We're recruiting on behalf of one of the world's most recognised FMCG brands for a Field Sales Executive to join their Grocery team, taking ownership of a high-profile territory across the South West of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity to represent an iconic brand within major grocery retailers, ensuring best-in-class execution, building strong customer relationships, and driving visibility, availability, and sales performance across your region.

Covering a large geographical territory across the South West stretching from Newquay across to Portsmouth and north to Oxford, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, develop lasting relationships with customers, and play a key role in bringing national commercial plans to life in-store.

  • Build strong relationships with Store Managers and key contacts across major grocery retailers.
  • Ensure excellent in-store execution, maximising product availability, shelf presence, displays, and promotional activity.
  • Identify opportunities to secure additional space, secondary displays, and incremental sales.
  • Train and coach distributor sales teams on brand standards, priorities, and promotional activity.
  • Manage and distribute POS materials to maximise brand visibility.
  • Gather and communicate valuable market intelligence, including competitor activity and retailer insights.
  • Accurately complete activity reporting and maintain CRM records in line with company standards.
  • Take ownership of your territory, planning your schedule to maximise customer engagement and commercial impact.

Previous experience within FMCG, field sales, retail, merchandising, or customer-facing commercial roles is required. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills are essential, along with strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage a large geographical territory. A commercial mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional in-store execution is necessary, as well as a willingness to travel daily across the South West region. A full (manual) UK driver’s licence is essential.
