A pioneering UK-based biotech scale-up is building the future of sustainable oils and fats through advanced fermentation technology. With regulatory approval secured and first commercial product ready for launch in cosmetics, the business is entering a critical revenue phase.
This is a hands-on, revenue-owning role. You will define the commercial strategy, build the pipeline, secure the first customers, and convert pilots into long-term supply agreements.
You will:
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the cosmetics sector
- Identify and prioritise target brands, formulators, and manufacturers
- Build and manage a full B2B sales pipeline from scratch
- Lead outreach, sampling, trials, negotiations and contract structuring
- Convert pilots into recurring commercial supply agreements
- Develop pricing models and structured volume ramp agreements
You are accountable for signed contracts and realised revenue in this vertical.
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in B2B cosmetics, personal care, or specialty ingredient sales
- Proven track record of opening new accounts or launching new market segments
- Experience negotiating and closing recurring supply agreements
- Strong commercial acumen (pricing strategy, margin management, forecasting)
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, low-infrastructure environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build something from zero
