AdvisoryAI is building the AI co-pilot that's transforming wealth management. We automate the tedious middle-office work that buries financial advisors, freeing them to focus on what matters: their clients. Founded by Entrepreneur First alumni, we've scaled to thousands of daily active users and are currently valued at £100 million. We're raising our Series A in 2026.

We need a world-class Product Designer with impeccable taste and craft. You'll own the design vision and execution for the next generation of financial advice—working directly with founders, shipping obsessively, and capturing meaningful equity in a rocket ship company. This role isn't about pushing pixels or following design systems. It's about crafting experiences so intuitive and delightful that users can't imagine life without them. We're looking for someone who sweats the details, understands the why behind every decision, and ships beautiful work fast.

This is your chance to join early, build something that matters, and win big.

Our Current Tech Core Products:

  • AI meeting recording & real-time transcription with speaker diarisation
  • Automated FCA-compliant report generation (suitability letters, annual reviews, fact-finds)
  • Atlas Chat for instant regulatory guidance and client queries
  • Template builder for custom report structures and conditional logic
  • Client relationship management with document versioning and audit trails

Scale: 10K+ requests/day, thousands of UK financial advisors, processing millions of client records

User Experience Challenges:

  • Complex financial workflows requiring simple, intuitive interfaces
  • Real-time AI interactions needing clear feedback and trust signals
  • Document generation with multiple review and editing states
  • Mobile-first experiences for advisors on the go
  • Compliance requirements balanced with delightful UX

Design System: Component library (building towards comprehensive design system), accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), responsive design patterns

Tools We Use: Figma, prototyping tools, user testing platforms, analytics (Posthog, Hotjar)

More than just designing, you'll be:

  • A craftsperson: Own the entire product experience from strategy to pixel-perfect execution. Every button, every transition, every loading state matters. You'll obsess over the details that most people miss but everyone feels—the 16px vs 20px spacing, the perfect easing curve, the copy that makes users smile.
  • A problem solver: Dive deep into complex workflows and make them feel simple. Turn regulatory requirements into delightful experiences. Work directly with users to understand their pain points, test ruthlessly, iterate fast. Design isn't decoration—it's solving real problems elegantly.
  • A collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with founders, engineers, and product managers. You'll be in customer calls understanding needs, white-boarding flows with engineers, debating product strategy, and shipping pixel-perfect implementations. When engineers say 'that's hard to build,' you'll find the elegant solution that's both beautiful and feasible.

We're looking for:

  • 3-5+ years product design experience shipping consumer or B2B SaaS products that users love
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and usability
  • Mastery of Figma (or similar tools)—components, auto-layout, prototyping, design systems
  • Experience designing complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces with elegance
  • Strong typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy skills—you know what makes interfaces feel right
  • Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first thinking, and cross-platform considerations
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems at scale
  • User research skills—able to run interviews, usability tests, and translate insights into design decisions
  • Data-informed approach—comfortable using analytics to validate design decisions and impact business metrics
  • Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Product thinking—able to challenge product decisions, propose features, and think about business impact
  • Excellent communication skills—able to articulate design rationale, defend decisions, and influence product direction
  • Experience working closely with engineers—understanding technical constraints and possibilities (basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and being wrong (then pivoting fast)
  • Relentlessly high standards—ship quickly but never ship mediocre design
  • Experience in regulated industries (fintech, healthtech, legal) is a major plus
  • Autonomous, opinionated, willing to fight for great user experiences
  • Experience working in high-velocity startups where you've worn multiple hats

  • Having fun: Be unapologetically you! We love our game-nights, ping pong tournaments, bufo emojis, and cow jokes.
