The mission: We're rebuilding the back office of UK financial advice around one AI interface. Atlas started by killing the paperwork that buries advisers. Now it's becoming the place the whole job happens: report generation, automated workflows, and proactive chats that reach the adviser before they even ask. One chat-led product. Thousands of advisers daily. The goal is every adviser in the country.

The hard truth: The product is valuable. The people who reach that value don't go back. But most still don't adopt it. And as more lands under Atlas — workflows, templates, proactive chats — the risk isn't running out of things to build. It's building the wrong ones, or building everything and moving nothing. Someone has to own the number, hold the line on what we build, and make adoption move. Right now that's the founders. It should be you. You'd be our first product hire — you set how product works here, you don't inherit it.

What you'll own:

  • One number: Atlas adoption. Everything else serves it.
  • The funnel: Define what activation and retention mean, instrument them, and make the drop-offs impossible to ignore.
  • First Principle Thinking: Decide what Atlas does next — and, harder, what it doesn't. We remove before we add. Bring that instinct.
  • The growth loop: Hypothesis, experiment, measure, decide, repeat. Kill what doesn't work without ceremony.
  • The users, directly: Out of the building every week — talking to advisers and firms, including the ones who've stalled or paused. If a firm goes quiet waiting on a feature, you should know why before we lose them, and make sure the product never lets it happen silently again.
  • The truth: When a lever doesn't move the number, find out why — from advisers and data, not opinion — and feed it back fast.

How we work: Fast. You'll ship to learn, not to look busy, work directly with the founders, and sit in calls with real users every week. No thick process to hide behind, no roadmap theatre — a hard problem, a small team, and a number that has to move. Your conviction comes from users and evidence, and you'll defend it against anyone, including us.

Who we're looking for: We care about evidence of exceptional ability, not your CV. The bar is high and we won't lower it. You've owned an adoption, activation, or retention metric and moved it — and you can tell us exactly what you changed and how you knew. You read a funnel without waiting on anyone. You decide with incomplete information and defend the call. You have the judgement to say no, the spine to push back on founders, and the speed to be wrong and fix it the same week. B2B SaaS background; fintech or another regulated, systems-heavy domain is a strong plus. Comfortable with AI-native products and an LLM in your own workflow.

How to apply: Tell us about one metric you owned, what you did, and what happened — numbers, not adjectives. Skip the cover letter. If this sounds like too much, it probably is. If it sounds like the only kind of work worth doing — apply.
