Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role will be negotiated at the point of recruitment and reviewed annually in line with ASHL Group Company policies. In addition to the base salary, advisers will have the opportunity to earn commission-based income. Full details of the commission structure and qualifying criteria will be provided upon commencement of employment. Any amendments to the commission criteria will take effect from 1 January each year and will be communicated with a minimum of 90 days' notice.
Role Overview
Beyond Wealth (Financial Management) Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Lyncombe Consultants Ltd and forms part of the ASHL Group of Companies. Beyond Wealth provides holistic financial planning and wealth management services to clients throughout the UK. The Financial Adviser is responsible for delivering holistic, compliant, and client‑focused financial advice to individuals and families, supporting them in achieving their short, medium, and long‑term financial objectives. The role requires the development of long‑term client relationships and the ability to identify and maximise opportunities for intergenerational financial planning. A key aspect of this position involves providing financial guidance to vulnerable clients. The successful candidate will therefore demonstrate a strong ability to identify, understand, and appropriately support clients experiencing vulnerability. The Adviser will operate in accordance with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements, and ASHL's advice framework, ensuring consistently high standards of client outcomes and sustainable business growth. Leads will be provided; however, advisers will also be expected to contribute to business development activities and generate new client opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Guidance & Client Advice
- Provide financial guidance and cashflow modelling support to vulnerable clients.
- Deliver regulated financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning, mortgages, and any other permissions held.
- Conduct comprehensive fact‑finds, needs analyses, and suitability assessments.
- Manage and undertake regular client reviews and ongoing servicing activities.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships founded on trust, professionalism, and transparency.
- Deliver ongoing advice aligned to clients' changing circumstances and objectives.
- Support and mentor both junior and experienced advisers within Beyond Wealth.
Advice Delivery & Administration
- Produce clear, compliant suitability reports and ongoing service reviews.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with paraplanning and administrative support teams to ensure an efficient and high‑quality client experience.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Operate fully in line with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements, and company compliance policies.
- Maintain complete and accurate client records, advice rationale, and supporting documentation.
- Engage positively with file reviews, audits, and compliance monitoring processes.
- Remain informed of regulatory developments and industry changes.
Business Development
- Develop and manage a pipeline of both new and existing clients.
- Generate new business through referrals, professional connections, networking, and firm‑led initiatives.
- Represent the business professionally with introducers, professional connections, and at industry events when required.
- Contribute to the growth of assets under advice and recurring fee income.
- Utilise marketing support and firm resources to support business growth objectives.
Professional Development
- Obtain and maintain Competent Adviser Status (CAS) within the network.
- Complete all required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and ongoing technical training.
- Maintain current knowledge of products, taxation, legislation, regulation, and financial planning strategies.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice initiatives across the wider business.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Financial Adviser within a regulated UK advice environment.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning, and financial planning strategies.
- Experience managing ongoing client relationships and delivering review‑based advice services.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements, and suitability standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads, priorities, and client expectations effectively.
Desirable
- Chartered Financial Planner status or actively working towards Chartered status.
- Experience advising high‑net‑worth or complex clients.
