We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead our team at Bishops Cleeve Care Home in Cheltenham. Bishops Cleeve is a welcoming 64-bed care home specialising in elderly and dementia care. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is committed to delivering outstanding resident care, inspiring teams, and driving continuous improvement.
About the Role
As Registered Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident wellbeing. You will lead and develop a compassionate and motivated team while creating a positive culture that supports both residents and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing a care home of a similar size (preferred)
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality dementia care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience developing and reviewing care assessments and care plans
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources effectively
- A track record of driving occupancy growth and promoting a care home within the local community
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals, residents, and families
