About the Role
As L&D Administrator and Scheduler, you will be responsible for the end to end coordination, administration and scheduling of all learning and development activity across Advice Direct Scotland. You will ensure that all internal and external training programmes are planned effectively, delivered on time, fully resourced and accurately recorded. You will play a central role in creating a seamless and professional experience for learners, trainers and stakeholders.
You will maintain oversight of training calendars, coordinate logistics, manage communications and ensure all training activity is compliant and fully auditable. Your work will directly support the delivery of training that enables our organisation to meet its strategic goals and continue supporting people across Scotland.
What you need to succeed
Educated to SCQF Level 4–5 or equivalent experience, you will bring proven experience in an administrative, coordination or scheduling role, ideally within a fast paced or service delivery environment. You will have strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Experience coordinating diaries, events or training schedules involving multiple stakeholders is essential.
You will be confident coordinating logistics, managing training records and ensuring accuracy in all documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are key, alongside the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Teams) is essential, and knowledge of Learning Management Systems or training environments would be beneficial.
You will be proactive, reliable and adaptable, with a customer focused and professional approach. A strong understanding of confidentiality, alongside the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team, is essential.
