About The Market Link (ADVFN) The Market Link is ADVFN’s digital marketing and capital markets consultancy, helping publicly listed companies and wealth brands think differently, tell their story differently, and use data and insights differently. We combine strategic advisory, creative execution, and distribution across highly engaged investor communities to deliver measurable results.
We are hiring a high-output hybrid operator who can both generate new business and coordinate campaign setup and delivery (emails, banner ads, sponsored articles, and related assets). This is a remote role for someone based in the UK with capital markets knowledge and strong commercial instincts.
The Role This is a hybrid role that blends:
- Outbound lead generation and sales development (BDA/SDR), and
- Campaign operations / activation support once a deal is moving.
You’ll be measured on outcomes: qualified meetings booked, opportunities progressed, and campaigns launched accurately and on time. Typical split: ~60% business development / ~40% campaign activation (this flexes with pipeline).
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Outreach (Lead Gen / BDA)
- Build a pipeline of UK prospects (AIM/Main Market issuers, wealth brands, brokers, advisers, IR/PR partners).
- Execute outbound campaigns across cold email, phone, and LinkedIn with consistent weekly targets.
- Research and identify decision-makers (CEO/CFO/IR/Marketing), uncover needs, and qualify opportunities.
- Book meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to senior sales leadership as needed.
- Track activity, notes, and pipeline stages accurately in Salesforce (or assigned CRM).
- Contribute to outreach messaging, sequences, and testing to improve conversion over time.
- Coordinate and set up campaign deliverables, including:
- Email/newsletter set-up (audience selection, scheduling, QA, link checks, tracking)
- Banner advertising coordination (specs, creative approvals, trafficking support, deadlines)
- Sponsored articles / content distribution (workflow, approvals, publishing timelines)
- Follow internal compliance and approval processes for issuer communications and marketing activity.
- Operate with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism when dealing with public companies and market-facing materials.
- You’ll work closely with a senior commercial and capital markets team, with hands-on coaching to help you sharpen issuer conversations, improve outbound performance, and understand how campaigns and deals are structured and executed in the small/mid-cap ecosystem.
- We provide practical playbooks, feedback, and regular support so you can build genuine capital markets fluency while delivering measurable commercial results.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in at least one of the following:
- Outbound B2B sales / SDR / BDA / lead generation
- Investor relations marketing, media sales, digital campaign coordination, or marketing operations
Nice to Have
- Capital markets knowledge and comfort engaging UK micro/small to mid-cap issuers and market participants.
- Existing network across AIM/UK issuers, brokers, advisers, IR/PR agencies, or wealth brands.
- Experience with email platforms, ad trafficking workflows, UTM tracking, and basic reporting.
- Familiarity with financial promotions considerations and working within compliance guardrails.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent weekly outbound activity that results in qualified meetings and pipeline growth.
- Opportunities progressed efficiently with strong notes, follow-ups, and stakeholder alignment.
- Campaigns launched accurately and on schedule with strong QA and minimal revisions.
- Clear internal communication and reliable execution that improves client experience and retention.
What’s in it for You
- Base salary + uncapped commission with meaningful upside for high performers.
- Remote-first flexibility and autonomy.
- High-impact role with direct influence on revenue and client success.
- Exposure to global investor engagement and digital marketing.
- Opportunity to grow into a more senior commercial role as the UK business scales.
