Chrome Productions is a full-service global creative production company creating award-winning films for some of the world’s leading brands. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class, dynamic, and fast-growing Production team. The Production Coordinator will assist in the preparation and shoot of UK-based and international productions. This role will be mainly responsible for organising the logistics of production, working closely with the Production Manager, Producer, and Global Head of Production. Day-to-day work will include office-based duties as well as shoot attendance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in organising the creation of high-quality film productions for our various clients. This person will need to be a multi-tasker and natural problem solver with the ability to think outside the box. The Production Coordinator will possess a strong work ethic and confidence, exhibiting a ‘can do’ and proactive attitude with an interest in further developing their career. The emphasis on quality and attention to detail is extremely important at Chrome. Every production must have the same high production value, and we always aim to exceed our clients’ expectations.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent / full-time
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
LOCATION: Kentish Town; this role requires international travel.
REPORTING TO: Global Head of Production
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing and being able to prioritise numerous shoots with multiple deadlines
- Creating call sheets, movement orders, and other production paperwork
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Organising international carnets and visas
- Liaising with the Production Manager to organise and create a preliminary schedule for a wide range of international shoots
- Booking freelance crew
- Booking necessary kit for projects, whilst keeping an eye on budget
- Researching locations for smaller shoots
- Handling petty cash, reporting spends, and submitting invoices
- Assisting with general administrative duties
- Working alongside our world-class in-house post-production team
- Collaborating with our growing team of talented production personnel
- Managing POs and petty cash
- Meeting a pre-agreed social or environmental goal as discussed with your manager
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Expertise working with Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Excellent organisation and time management skills; ability to prioritise work effectively and efficiently whilst managing multiple deadlines at once
- Proactive, methodical, and willing to go the extra mile
- Meticulousness and attention to detail
- Creativity and flair for finding original solutions
- A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to think outside and troubleshoot the box when facing challenges
