Role Overview
We are now looking for a Post Production Producer who can lead projects with confidence, grow client relationships and ultimately help shape the future of the company. As a Post Production Producer at Search Party, you will be the operational and client-facing heartbeat of our studio. You will oversee projects from pitch to delivery, managing schedules, budgets, editors, artists and client communication. You will be the face of the company, ensuring clients feel supported, informed and excited throughout the process. You will also be responsible for exploring new business leads, bringing Search Party's offering to a wider range of clients, as well as broadening our roster. This is a role for someone who wants to grow with the business. For the right candidate, there will be long-term opportunities for partnership and leadership. Sustainable working practices are important to us. We do not expect evening or weekend work. Your job is to run productions efficiently, not to sacrifice your life for them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from brief to final delivery across offline editing, VFX, motion graphics and AI-driven pipelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, directors, agencies and collaborators.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships, representing Search Party with clarity and confidence.
- Nurture new client relationships, identifying opportunities for studio growth and operational improvements.
- Create accurate schedules, budgets and production workflows.
- Oversee and support editors, assistants, motion designers and external vendors.
- Troubleshoot challenges and maintain smooth communication across departments.
- Uphold Search Party's commitment to healthy work-life balance and positive team culture.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Post-Producer, Producer, Production Manager or similar role in commercials, music videos or post-heavy environments.
- Strong understanding of offline editing workflows; familiarity with VFX, motion graphics and AI tools is a major advantage.
- Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Solid financial and scheduling competency.
- Calm, proactive and solutions-focused under pressure.
