The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are seeking a diligent and driven junior assistant to support our Colour Assistants and wider team, supporting them in all of the data-centric tasks. This is an integral role in our company, you will be responsible for preparing and organising digital assets entering and leaving the studio via electronic and physical media.

This entry-level but critical role would suit a recent graduate with a VFX-based degree or someone who is currently a runner looking for their next role. Due to the nature of this role, remote working is not possible. You will be based in our beautiful, Shoreditch studio.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Creating Web Links for WIPs and to share material onwards.

Download and ingest of material for internal distribution.

Management of internal file systems.

Transcoding of camera material.

Data archiving.

Hard drive Management.

Skills and Experience:

Great organisation and multitasking skills to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.

Technical knowhow and a strong interest in media management, visual effects and post-production.

Experience with Media Encoder, Adobe Software (Premiere, AfterEffects, Photoshop), Davinci Resolve, Avid, Final Cut Pro and Nuke/Nuke Studio is preferable but not essential.

An understanding of camera codecs, rushes ingest and workflow.

Consistent attention to detail is essential.

A calm and methodical approach under pressure.

A self-starter mentality with the ability to focus, take notes and prioritise tasks while unsupervised.

Competence with Google Workspace: Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Sheets and Microsoft Office: Word and Excel

Previous experience with data management or file system administration as a bonus but not essential. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn is key.
