We’re looking for someone to hit the ground running in the planning and managing of our commercial and long-form productions. We’re looking for someone who’d be comfortable working for a young and progressive production studio down by the sea and with a high drive and ambition for high-quality productions. Overseeing the QC’ing and delivery of production files will be one of the key roles. This is an exciting position, within a fast-paced studio environment, for anyone with a love of creative project management. The Producers are the key link between our creative team and our clients and are the driving force ensuring the successful delivery of animation projects on budget and on time.

What we’d like you to be doing:

  • Supporting the Senior Producers and Directors during pitches and pre-production meetings.
  • Manage incoming briefs/scripts and outgoing quote proposals, including; discussing creative execution with the Directors, preparing budgets and schedules, and client/agency communications.
  • Recruitment and management of freelance creative crew working on a project-by-project basis.
  • Ensure project requirements are fully communicated to all creative staff and are adhered to during production.
  • Contribute to creative and problem-solving discussions.
  • Ensure productions are delivered with all assets, including all versions checked for quality control.

About You:

  • Three years experience working within animation, advertising or film production.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in animation, creative production, and advertising.
  • You will be a highly organised person with good communication skills who enjoys problem-solving.
  • Understanding the creative process is essential (but specific creative skills are not required), enabling you to discuss creative problems and solutions with clients/agencies and creative staff.

  • To achieve this, you will need to be a team player that can learn and adapt quickly and is willing to muck in when required.
  • The role will require the candidate to work from A+C’s Margate production studio, Monday to Friday and 09:30-18:00.

What’s in it for You:

  • We offer a structured induction programme so you understand everything about animation production management.
  • Yes we teach you how to animate, it’s important everyone at A+C gets to animate.
  • PLUS you get to play with Plasticine, we have lots of that stuff.
  • We offer a profit share scheme, health care cover, paid sick days and a company pension.
  • There’s a cycle to work scheme, drinks every Friday, work socials and we even give you your birthday off to celebrate you coming into the world!
