We are looking for a detailed-orientated and proactive Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join KODE, starting ASAP. This is a part-time position of initially two days a week, working from within our office near Old Street.

You will join our Finance department at KODE and support our day-to-day financial operations.

This is an opportunity to be part of an established, family-style company that creates work across multiple mediums includingadvertising, music, photography, short film, emerging technology and post production.

Please note, this is not a path into production.

Role Highlights:

  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, including processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and clientbilling – Including Petty Cash and Cash Floats
  • Supporting with Credit Control – monitoring outstanding invoices, chasing payments, and performing credit checkswhen needed
  • Handling supplier communications, responding to queries and helping manage relationships
  • Preparing and processing domestic and international payments (including weekly payment runs in multiplecurrencies, as well as staff expenses)
  • Reconcilingbankaccounts,creditcards,andsupplierstatements regularly
  • Maintaining and updating the weekly cash flow position
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records are kept in line with internal policies
  • Supporting with audit and compliance tasks, including organising documentation and responding to auditorrequests
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team and wider business

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Xero accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable handling calls and queries from both internal and external contacts
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or book keeping role
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
  • A genuine interest in working within a creative or media environment
