We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ years PQE) to join our growing Private Family team in North Devon.

Wollens is a dynamic and successful Devon-based firm. It has shown exceptional growth over the past few years and is now one of the largest practices in the Devon and Somerset area. It has ambitious plans, and this opportunity is perfect for a bright and committed lawyer to make a mark in a vibrant firm and department. The Family Team are recognised by the Legal 500 and ranked amongst the top law firms in the South West.

You will manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on matrimonial finance, alongside broader private family matters including divorce, separation, cohabitation issues, private children law and pre and post nuptial work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a mixed caseload of high quality private family matters
  • Take responsibility for complex matrimonial finance cases, including high value and multi asset matters
  • Advising clients with sensitivity, clarity, and commercial awareness
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the growth and profile of the department
  • Supervising junior fee earners
About You
  • 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law (solicitor or legal executive)
  • Strong technical expertise in both financial remedy and children law preferred
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team culture
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • A desire to play an active part in the marketing and progression of the department.
