Enthusiastic and talented conveyancer required for a small High Street multi-disciplinary firm. We are seeking a residential conveyancer to join our busy High Street practice in Somerset which has been in Burnham-on-Sea for nearly 150 years.
The successful candidate will join a team of two existing conveyancing solicitors and will be supervised directly by one of our Partners but with their own caseload. There is also the possibility to expand into Private client work such as Probate, Wills and Powers of Attorney if a candidate has experience in this area and wants to maintain a caseload of this nature.
We can be flexible as to whether this is a full or part time role (with a pro-rata salary) and, within reason, the hours worked in order to fit around family or other similar commitments. A candidate who is either a solicitor or licensed conveyancer with at least 3 years post qualification experience is preferred but less experienced candidates will be considered.
In addition, there is future potential for the right candidate to become a Partner in the practice. We are a quality and client experience rather than target driven firm, although a realistic billing budget will be set in consultation with the successful candidate at the start of their tenure.
The posted salary is the expected salary for somebody with 3-5 years post qualification experience but the salary is negotiable upwards for more experienced candidates with a proven track record and likewise less experienced candidates looking to make a start in this area of work may be considered with a lower salary range. The salary will be in the range of £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
