We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a range of skilled trades roles to support maintenance, repairs, and renovations across social housing and public buildings in the Derby and Surrounding areas.
Trades We’re Hiring For:
- Carpenters
- Plasterers
- Multi-Traders
- Painters & Decorators
- Labourers
- Roofers
- Plumbers
- Other skilled operatives considered
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance work in occupied and void properties, as well as in public buildings. Duties will vary based on your trade but may include:
- Reactive and planned maintenance
- Renovation works
- Basic Multi-Trade support if required
- Working to high standards in both domestic and commercial settings
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in your trade (ideally in social housing or public sector works)
- Driving licence essential
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in your trade
- City & Guilds Certification
- Health & Safety Awareness (CSCS card beneficial)
