Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, strimming and edging.
- Hedge trimming, pruning and shrub maintenance.
- Litter picking and keeping communal areas clean and presentable.
- Weed control and leaf clearance.
- Planting, watering and maintaining flower beds and landscaped areas.
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and leaf blowers.
- Carrying out routine inspections and reporting any hazards, defects or vandalism.
- Maintaining parks, housing estates, public open spaces and communal areas.
- Working safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Providing a professional and courteous service when interacting with members of the public.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Gardening or Estate Maintenance.
- Experience using grounds maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred (essential for some positions).
