Adversa Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work with a range of local authorities, housing associations and contractors across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals with grounds maintenance or landscaping experience who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining clean, safe and attractive outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting, strimming and edging.
  • Hedge trimming, pruning and shrub maintenance.
  • Litter picking and keeping communal areas clean and presentable.
  • Weed control and leaf clearance.
  • Planting, watering and maintaining flower beds and landscaped areas.
  • Operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and leaf blowers.
  • Carrying out routine inspections and reporting any hazards, defects or vandalism.
  • Maintaining parks, housing estates, public open spaces and communal areas.
  • Working safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Providing a professional and courteous service when interacting with members of the public.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Gardening or Estate Maintenance.
  • Experience using grounds maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is preferred (essential for some positions).
