We are currently looking for experienced Administration Manager to join our client, Sefton Council. We are looking for an Admin Manager with a minimum of 6 months experience within an Administrative / Business Support environment who are looking to develop their professional career within a Local Authority environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will have experience of managing a Safeguarding Admin Team and be able to manage, co-ordinate and develop an efficient and effective customer focused administration service within Children’s Social Care.
  • IT literate with the ability to communicate and co-ordinate relevant information from senior management across the service, contribute to service improvement and ensure compliance with statutory and departmental policies and procedures is essential. Experience of processing financial transactions in accordance with the Authority’s relevant policies and procedures is vital along with the working knowledge of Social Care systems interrogation.
  • Leading and motivating a Business Support Team, an understanding of personnel policies and procedures is required with a proven ability to work flexibly and meet demanding and sometimes conflicting targets to meet the demands of the service.

Requirements

  • Supporting, leading and guiding a team in an office environment. This can be an Admin Team or Business Support.
  • Safeguarding knowledge / experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Able to commit to being in the office 5 days per week.
  • Working within a Social Care Team environment isn't essential.
