Gethsemane Christian SDA Junior Academy is located in the beautiful Raleigh-Durham, NC area and operates in a well-equipped facility serving grades K–8.

We are currently seeking a dedicated lower grades teacher (3rd–5th grade) to serve as a homeroom and team teacher. The ideal candidate is a competent, caring Christian educator who is eager to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning.

Key responsibilities include preparing effective weekly lesson plans, maintaining strong classroom management, integrating technology to enhance instruction, and differentiating lessons to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will build strong partnerships with parents through timely communication, including posting assignments and grades and holding conferences as needed.

We value a collaborative spirit and seek a team player who will positively represent our school within the church and the broader community.

Required Experience

Minimum Bachelor\’s degree, current NAD teaching certificate and prior experience preferred, but not required. Competitive Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy. Individuals must have the legal right to work in the United States.
