Advantive is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing development team responsible for our market-leading SaaS platform for specialty manufacturers and distributors. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving quality, innovation, and alignment with Advantive’s values across our Israel-based engineering team. As the most senior technical leader in-region, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence, maintaining product stability, and fostering a strong connection between our global teams. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a distributed team of engineers through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
- Partner closely with Product Management, QA, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality features and performance improvements in our SaaS products.
- Drive technical strategy, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement across development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Ensure system performance and platform stability, particularly for our iPaaS and Android applications.
- Champion modern software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps excellence.
- Lead efforts to resolve product performance and scalability, collaborating with teams across AWS-based environments.
- Model clear, transparent communication and “extreme ownership” in every initiative — from technical outcomes to team culture.
- Actively engage in architectural reviews, code-level design decisions, and technical deep dives to guide teams toward scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Partner with other Senior Development Managers across Advantive to share best practices, align on architecture standards, and promote consistent engineering excellence across all product lines.
- Own delivery commitments, quality metrics, and release cadence to ensure predictable execution and continuous improvement.
