We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic senior sales person to drive new customer acquisition and designâin/designâwin (DI/DW) project growth across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions, potentially also across the Eastern European region. You will play a critical role in expanding our regional footprint and creating longâterm value through strategic partnerships with known and new key customers.
Your responsibility
- Identify, qualify, and develop new customer accounts and new designâin/designâwin project opportunities in target markets.
- Promote Advantech's core embedded product portfolio (SOM, SBC, IMB) to OEMs, system integrators, and technology developers.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop tailored value propositions and technical presentations in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Drive all stages of the sales cycleâfrom opportunity identification to project closureâensuring high conversion rates.
- Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment and successful project onboarding.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitive trends, and regional growth potential.
- Focus on new business onlyâdo not involve account maintenance of existing customers or ongoing business management.
Who are you?
- 3â5 years of business development or technical sales experience in embedded systems or industrial PCs.
- Proven record of achieving new business growth and projectâbased sales success.
- Strong understanding of embedded computing technologies and industrial applications.
- Knowledge of customers across focused regions (UK, Ireland, Nordics).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Selfâmotivated, proactive, and capable of managing autonomous regional responsibilities.
