Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Inspect vehicles upon arrival from the Panel Shop to confirm all bodywork repairs and filler work are complete and ready for paint preparation.
- Sanding and Finishing: Complete all necessary sanding, feather-edging, and blocking of repaired panels to create a smooth, contaminant-free surface ready for priming and final paint application.
- Priming: Accurately mix and apply primers and stopping materials as required by the repair method and manufacturer specifications.
- Masking and Booth Preparation: Thoroughly clean and degrease all surfaces prior to masking.
