Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an opportunity for a Parts Counter Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Parts Counter Sales Associate will offer the region our comprehensive sales and service network supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators; offering our services to the largest on-highway heavy duty parts network in New England.
ATG has competitive hourly pay rates, day one benefits and a supportive team environment. Moreover, we offer state of the art training programs to help you build your skills to increase your earning potential.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday rotation, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation
- Hourly pay: starting at $20.00 per hour
- Additional shift differential: $1.00 for second shift hours
- Overtime pay rate: time and a half

Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle incoming parts requests for both retail customers as well as technicians
- Promptly and professionally greet customers in person and over the phone
- Ensure accurate and appropriate inventory and billing controls through transactions
- Provide customers with accurate parts lookup and recommendations based on their described needs
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Parts Experience needed – Heavy Duty Experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, capability of lifting/moving up to 60 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Bi-lingual preferred
Requirements
- Must Have Valid State Driver License
- Clean Driving Record
- Understanding of the Automotive or Heavy Duty-Truck industry
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk and climb
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to to maintain sitting positions throughout the work day
- Frequent moving of equipment and lifting of parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
