Role Overview
My client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller and wider accounts department. The role will involve assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including purchase and sales ledger duties, invoicing, and a variety of ad hoc finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers
- Assist with invoicing and reconciliations
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to the finance team
- Work closely with the Finance Controller and wider accounts department
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a busy accounts department
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using Xero is desirable
