We are hiring for a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer based in the Southwest area. This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.
The Role
- Lead a small, experienced, collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Technical leadership on control and instrumentation systems
- Supporting asset lifecycle management
- Developing modifications and upgrades
- Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements
The Individual
- Degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Experience in C&I engineering within a highly regulated industry
- Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and functional safety
- Proficiency in producing and reviewing engineering calculations, specifications and design documentation
Desirable Attributes
- Understanding of safety-critical environments and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in defence, energy, infrastructure or process industries
