The Role
This role is for a Mechanical Engineer Lead—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
- You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Support engineering delivery across the full project lifecycle including concept development, design, implementation, commissioning, and operational support.
- Review and approve technical documentation
- Support configuration management activities.
- Provide technical oversight to facility modifications, infrastructure upgrades, and asset lifecycle management activities.
- Support planning, risk management, and progress reporting activities associated with engineering delivery.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing activities where required to ensure engineering solutions are successfully implemented.
- The Individual
We’re looking for people who can show
- Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Engineering expertise within a highly regulated or safety-critical industry.
- Leading engineering teams or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities.
- Delivering engineering solutions across the full asset lifecycle including design, modification, maintenance, and operational support.
- Understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance, and configuration management.
Desirable Attributes
- Understanding of the nuclear industry and/or other safety-critical environments.
- Supporting infrastructure or facility-based engineering projects.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or process systems associated with industrial facilities.
- Working within defence or Mo D environments supporting asset lifecycle management.
