We are a friendly, fast-paced local print business looking for a proactive and organised Print Room Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys delivering great customer service including responding to in-person clients, incoming telephone calls, and emails. You will also be accountable for quoting, booking and invoicing projects. You will play an important role in ensuring all jobs are processed smoothly, customers receive excellent service and projects are delivered accurately and on time.
Our ideal candidate will be a proficient administrator, preferably with print experience, self-motivated, and capable of prioritising tasks with minimal supervision. They will be proactive, organised and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks while supporting various business functions. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service by phone, email and in-person queries
- Manage the company email account, respond to all inbound enquiries and take necessary actions
- Prepare accurate quotes, process bookings and manage job tracking
- Raise and manage invoices on QuickBooks
- Co-ordinate print jobs, ensuring all required materials and artwork are provided
- Arrange deliveries via Couriers and Royal Mail portals
- Take and process payments securely
- Other duties may include ordering supplies
- Support production with printing and finishing where required
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Confident communicator with customer-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and PDF software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- Collaborative team player with positive attitude
- Sense of humour
- Must be willing to work with office dogs
- Previous experience in print or graphic design
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience in print booking or workflow systems
