Advantage Medical Staffing is recruiting for a Consultant Urologist to join a well-established NHS hospital team in Northern Ireland.
Salary: Approximately £100,000 – £132,000+ per year depending on experience, NHS consultant scale, and additional programmed activities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality elective and emergency urology services
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of urological conditions
- Perform urological procedures and surgery within a multidisciplinary setting
- Participate in outpatient clinics, ward rounds, theatre sessions, and on-call rota
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, teaching, and service development
- Support and supervise junior medical staff and trainees
Requirements:
- GMC registration with licence to practise
- FRCS (Urology) or equivalent specialist qualification
- CCT in Urology (or within 6 months of completion) / CESR equivalent
- Experience working at Consultant level or near-completion of training
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamworking skills
