About the Opportunity: Join a progressive oncology service delivering comprehensive cancer care within state-of-the-art radiation oncology departments. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams including Medical Oncology, Haematology, Surgery, and Palliative Care, providing advanced cancer treatment using modern radiotherapy technologies and evidence-based care pathways. Opportunities exist in both metropolitan and regional centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients requiring radiotherapy
- Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary cancer meetings
- Contribute to teaching, research, and clinical governance
- Support service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- FRCR (Clinical Oncology), FRANZCR, American/Canadian Board Certification, or equivalent specialist qualification
- Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia
- Experience in a tertiary cancer centre or teaching hospital preferred
- UK-trained Clinical Oncologists encouraged to apply
