About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology) Surgeon to join a high-performing surgical team in regional Victoria, just 90 minutes from central Melbourne.
This role provides an excellent blend of public hospital ENT practice and high-demand private work, allowing surgeons to build a full surgical caseload quickly while enjoying the lower cost of living and lifestyle benefits of regional Australiaβwithout being far from a major capital city.
π Key Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of ENT services including adult and paediatric care
- Perform elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures
- Participate in outpatient clinics, theatre lists, and on-call rosters
- Work collaboratively with anaesthetics, oncology, audiology & paediatric teams
- Supervise registrars, trainees, and junior doctors
- Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement & CME
β Candidate Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent)
- Specialist qualification in ENT / Otolaryngology
- (e.g., FRCS(ORL-HNS), American Board, Royal College of Canada, European Board, FRACS-equivalent, or South African specialist credentials)
- Eligible for AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Experience across both adult and paediatric ENT surgery desirable
