About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a prestigious private hospital in Jeddah, one of the Middle East’s most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities. This role offers the opportunity to practise within a world-class surgical department, working alongside multidisciplinary teams and advanced facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma and joint reconstruction, and an interest in advancing orthopaedic standards through clinical excellence, teaching, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
- Perform orthopaedic surgeries, including trauma and elective procedures
- Collaborate closely with physiotherapy, anaesthesia, and rehabilitation teams
- Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and quality improvement programmes
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and residents
Candidate Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery (or recognised equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ post-certification experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teaching skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills an advantage
