About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a major tertiary ophthalmology service in Singapore . This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive ophthalmic care across outpatient, surgical, and emergency settings within a highly regarded national healthcare network.
The successful candidate will contribute to clinical service delivery, postgraduate teaching, and service development while practising in a world-class clinical and academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consultant-level ophthalmic care across clinics and theatres
- Perform a broad range of ophthalmic procedures appropriate to experience
- Participate in on-call and emergency ophthalmology services
- Supervise and mentor residents and junior clinicians
- Contribute to CME, audit, research, and service improvement
✅ Candidate Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (e.g. FRCOphth, MMed, American Board of Ophthalmology , or equivalent)
- Completion of recognised advanced specialist training
- Eligibility for specialist registration in Singapore
- Senior Consultant applicants require substantial post-CCT experience
