We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level emergency care across adult and paediatric presentations
- Lead assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and complex cases
- Supervise and support junior doctors, registrars, and ED staff
- Work collaboratively with trauma, ICU, surgical, and medical specialties
- Participate in emergency response, resuscitation, and major incident planning
- Maintain high standards of documentation, patient safety, and clinical governance
- Contribute to CME, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Required:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- CCT, USA Board, Canadian Board, or recognised equivalent in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum 3 years’ post-certification experience at consultant level
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Fluent English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
- Preferred:
- Experience in high-volume or tertiary Emergency Departments
- Subspecialty interest in trauma, critical care, or paediatric emergency medicine
- Previous involvement in teaching, governance, or service development
