Job Summary: Consultant ICU Medicine / Critical Care Specialist IN RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA
£200,000 TO £240,000 PER ANNUM TAX FREE + BENEFITS INCLUDING HOUSING AND SCHOOLING
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant ICU Medicine Specialist to join our team in RIYADH. You will manage critically ill patients, lead ICU operations, mentor junior staff, and drive clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat critically ill patients with complex medical conditions.
- Perform advanced ICU procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and ICU staff, ensuring high clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, medical audits, and staff training programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required :
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in critical care medicine.
- Expertise in managing complex ICU cases and advanced critical care procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Preferred :
- Leadership or supervisory experience in an ICU setting.
- Fellowship or additional specialization in Critical Care Medicine.
- Experience in a high-volume ICU or critical care unit.
