Job Description
What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Live In Carer to support our lovely client in their own home.
Our client loves visiting coffee shops, doing arts and crafts and spending time with her family. We are looking for someone who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm. You will be someone who values building strong relationships, loves to get creative and can provide high quality and attentive care.
The key duties with this role include
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Administering medication
- Domestic duties around the home
- Preparing meals
- Going on outings with our client such as coffee mornings and art sessions
No two days are the same – you’ll face new challenges, gain valuable experience, and most importantly help make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Qualifications
Whilst full training and clinical support will be provided, we are looking for someone with prior care experience particularly with catheter care and bowel management. You’ll receive full nurse led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.
The successful candidate with be a driver with access to a car.
