Stanford-Le-Hope, North Benfleet, Pitsea, Langdon Hills, Basildon, Rayleigh, and surrounding areas
Shifts work across seven days a week,
EVENING – 2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm
Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities
- Our Care Professionals support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, helping clients bathe, dress, manage incontinence, and supporting medication management.
- Assist with mobility and physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and adaptations.
- Help with domestic tasks like making beds, tidying, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
- Support clients with personal hygiene, including washing, bathing, and toileting, maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Assist with eating and drinking, including meal preparation and feeding support.
- Assist with medication administration as per care plans.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and prevent loneliness through engaging activities and outings.
- Support with health monitoring, social inclusion, emotional support, and documentation of care.
- Ensure safety and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with care teams, healthcare professionals, and family members.
