Shifts: Part Time - 1 x 12 Hour Shift Per Week + Plus Additional Shifts To Cover For Annual Leave & Sickness

Job Description

What you’ll do:

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful teenager who has epilepsy and breathing issues. We are looking for a kind, gentle and soft spoken candidate who has a lot of resilience, determination and patience.

You will deliver care in line with the care plan which includes peg feeds, seizure management, non-invasive ventilation, daily suctioning and medication administration.

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

  • Experience working in a complex care setting.
  • Experience with PEG feeding.
  • Experience of seizure management.
  • Experience with suctioning.
  • Experience of oxygen administration.
  • Experience of ventilation equipment.
  • Experience with cough assist.
  • Experience of using a ceiling hoist.
