Overview
Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as ventilation support, PEG feeding, catheter care, bowel management, moving and handling equipment and medication administration. You will be supporting a lady with a multitude of complex care needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bed bath).
- Assist moving and handling via hoist and other moving equipment.
- Support PEG feeding for medication and nutrients.
- Assist with catheter care.
- Assist with bowel management as part of complex care needs.
- Support moving and handling using equipment, including assisting with mobility via chair.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by the care plan.
- Support ventilation-related care as part of the care plan.
- Escort the person out of the house as required.
Requirements
- Compassionate and resilient attitude.
- Willingness to undertake full training and receive clinical support.
