Job Description

  • Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support that prioritises dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Personal care – bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, toileting, and grooming.
  • Medication support – collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and administration.
  • Meal preparation and nutrition – preparing meals and assisting at mealtime.
  • Mobility and equipment support – helping with transfers, safe movement and use of mobility aids.
  • Housekeeping – making and changing beds, laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and emptying commodes.
  • Companionship and emotional support – listening, engaging in conversation, and organising outings.
  • Encourage social engagement and family connections.
  • Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team.
