The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.
This role supports a paediatric client with a genetic mutation (Epileptic Encephalopathy and Pharyngomalacia) to attend school and participate in activities during the day. At night you support the family with bedtime routines and ensure the client’s airway and PEG are managed. The client has a tracheostomy, uses a ventilator at night, receives food and medicines via PEG, and requires assistance with mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Attend school with the child and support participation in school activities during the day.
- Support family with bedtime routine at night.
- Ensure airway, ventilator, PEG and mobility assistance are managed correctly.
- Assist with feeding and medication via PEG.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children.
- Experience working in complex care settings.
- Knowledge of manual handling and hoisting.
