This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Complex Care Assistant, supporting a young boy with Infantile Pompe Disease in his family home. You’ll receive full training and clinical supervision to develop skills in areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, seizure management, and more. The client enjoys worship, teaching, football, collecting football cards, movies, and Sky Sports News. There is a friendly Labrador at the property, and some support will take place in school settings. This is a non-smoking home. You’ll help promote independence, manage clinical needs, and engage with family – making each day different, rewarding, and a chance to grow your expertise in complex care.

What you\’ll do

What you\’ll need

The following clinical skills are required for this role: tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, ventilation support, suctioning, medication administration, and moving and handling. Full training and ongoing clinical support will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in delivering high-quality care tailored to the client’s complex needs.
