We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and reliable individual to provide overnight support for a lady with complex care needs in her family home, delivering calm, respectful, and attentive care to ensure her comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night. Duties include personal care, food preparation, medication administration, and support with social activities and appointments.
The client lives with a supportive, welcoming family in a pet‑free home, has a creative personality, and enjoys films, arts and crafts, and hypnotherapy, valuing reassuring, person‑centred support. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is genuinely caring, detail‑oriented, and committed to high‑quality home‑based care; experience in complex care is desirable, but kindness, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential, but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:
- PEG feeding
- Ventilation Support (C‑Pap)
- Catheter Care
- Bowel Management
- Medication Administration
- Moving & Handling Equipment
- Challenging Behaviour
