We're looking for compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school supporting pupils aged 4-19 with a range of complex additional needs.

This isn't just another Teaching Assistant role.

This specialist provision caters for Primary and Secondary pupils with a wide range of complex needs including:

  • Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

  • Sensory Processing Difficulties

Your Role

  • As a Teaching Assistant you'll work alongside experienced teachers and therapists to:
  • ✔ Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small classes
  • ✔ Help pupils access learning through personalised strategies
  • ✔ Encourage communication, independence and confidence
  • ✔ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • ✔ Assist with sensory activities and therapeutic interventions
  • ✔ Celebrate every achievement—no matter how big or small

Some pupils may require personal care, moving and handling or medical support. Full training will be provided where required.
