This is a full-time on-site role for a Healthcare Assistant located in Ipswich and local areas. Our Healthcare Assistants will be responsible for:
- Assisting patients with daily personal care
- Supporting medical teams
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Effective communication with patients and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and support are provided
Please note all candidates are required to work within IR35 regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Manual Handling to assist patients safely and effectively
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate and build rapport with patients and healthcare teams
- Experience in Patient Care, focusing on delivering quality health and personal care services
- Understanding of Medicine, including basic knowledge of medication administration and handling
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset
- Relevant certification or training in healthcare or similar field is desirable
