Advanta proactively works together with stakeholders during the lifecycle of a claim, managing expectations through transparent dialogue, and applying technical and financial resources where and when necessary.
The candidate would be responsible for the management of general insurance claims on a ‘cradle to grave’ basis, handling a diverse caseload whilst being able to conduct site inspections, meetings and interviews with various parties including Insureds, Insurers and Brokers. This position is UK-based and will require travel domestically for fieldwork throughout the UK.
- Hands on loss adjusting for liability complex claims.
- Overseeing claims handled by a small team.
- Liaising with Advanta’s Head Office and UK property team to maintain high standards of work.
- Assist the existing team with business development opportunities.
- Familiarity with the insurance markets.
- Experience of leading meetings and discussing claims with senior personnel.
- Dynamic and flexible to meet deadlines and client needs.
