Within this role you will ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations through effective stock handling, shipping coordination, and administrative support. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high operational standards and enabling timely, reliable delivery of goods to customers.
Responsibilities
- Check, verify, and double-count all incoming deliveries.
- Check off goods leaving the building, ensuring correct items, addresses, and secure packaging.
- Pack goods in line with hazardous goods regulations.
- Prepare stock for courier collection, including palletising items.
- Prepare stock for recycling, including safe palletisation.
- Assist with measuring and recording weight and dimensions for outbound shipments.
- Manage daily interactions with couriers.
- Ensure international shipments are accurate, correctly labelled, and documented before dispatch.
- Support return processes, checking condition and eligibility for credit.
- Perform routine stock checks across warehouse locations.
- Support two full stock audits per year (may include a Saturday).
- Keep aisles and stock areas organised, tidy, and efficiently maintained.
- Work with Operations daily to track, locate, and manage kit.
- Liaise with the Cardinal team regarding picking operations.
- Support the Advania Configuration team with goods when required.
- Work closely with Operations on returns, stock issues, and equipment tracking.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial (but not essential).
- Strong computer literacy, with confident use of Microsoft 365 - particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word.
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative without constant supervision.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and willing to take on hands-on tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage changing priorities.
- Quick learner with a flexible, "can-do" attitude.
- Reliable all-rounder who enjoys being part of a fast-paced operations team.
