JOB PURPOSE As our Account Manager you'll be excited to focus on managing and evolving our portfolio of small to medium clients (typically 1-150 employees) whilst helping the team to meet our targets and evolve the way we work to be as efficient as possible. The role is primarily desk based but may include occasional client meetings or event attendance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED You've got the background in technology and is looking to take the next step in their career by moving into a sales and account management-based role within a fast paced, forward leaning technology company. Your proven experience in the industry and confidence in present value based IT solutions to an existing and new customer base makes you the right person for the job, because you also are/have: A passion for technology and how it can transform small and medium businesses A drive to grow small and medium clients into the next big thing Demonstrable experience within the IT or Technology sectors with a working knowledge of core technologies such as Cloud Hosting, Microsoft 365, Cyber Security and ERP You have had experience selling into and upselling consultancy, development and support specifically in ERP, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics365 Business Central and Dynamics365 Sales A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs A team player, willing to help colleagues and the team to develop and meet targets The ability to develop relationships with both operational and business decision makers Communicate regularly and effectively through via phone, video, email A clear understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate these into IT solutions A desire to develop commercial skills including negotiation, development of business case and demonstrate ROI Natural problem-solving skills Able to work as part of a dispersed team, managing your own time and task completion efficiently An ability to embrace and manage change in a dynamic and fast-growing organisation KEY RESULT AREAS Working closely with the Sales Manager for Account Management, you're the kind of individual with relevant industry experience that can demonstrate technical and commercial qualities to enhance the SMB Account Management function to meet the key deliverables described below: Take ownership/management of a sales target Retention, growth and profitability of your client portfolio Development of client portfolio to upsell products and solutions from across the business Responsibility for the timely delivery of high-quality client proposals, leading the scoping and estimation of projects working with technical specialists Responsibility for maintaining an accurate opportunity pipeline, whitespace and contact plan Develop micro campaigns to increase uptake of key products and services Act as a key stakeholder in commercial sign off Take on occasional new business leads and develop through to successful sales Be a contributor to the SMB Account Management processes and policies Remain current with key industry advancements and important news, and able to adapt to the fast rate of change in the technology space #LI-Hybrid Competitive base + Commission Our Selection Process: We are committed to ensuring an equitable experience for all candidates, regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis as protected by applicable law.
