We are looking for a SharePoint Migration Specialist to join us for a 3 month fixed term contract. This role is focused on the design and delivery of SharePoint and OneDrive migration solutions into Microsoft 365. You will bring deep expertise in SharePoint ecosystems (on-prem and online) and modern migration tooling, combined with strong experience in data governance, automation, and enterprise-scale delivery. You will play a key role across the full lifecycle of migration projects—from discovery and planning through to execution, optimization, and transition into managed services.
This role will be 3 days a week onsite in London with the remaining 2 as remote.
Salary & BenefitsThis role is a fixed term contract, so we will provide a competitive annualised base salary to compensate for the role not being on a day-rate. Our recruitment team will request your salary expectations once your application has been submitted.
Responsibilities- Deliver SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migration workshops, including discovery, assessment, and solution design.
- Define migration strategies aligned to client requirements such as tenant-to-tenant migrations and file share migrations.
- Own and contribute to end-to-end migration delivery (assessment, planning, execution, validation).
- Design and implement governance-aligned target architectures.
- Configure and optimise migration tooling including ShareGate and Microsoft native tooling.
- Lead or support complex migration scenarios, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Work closely with architects, change teams, and managed services for seamless service handover.
- Support pre-sales efforts by contributing to proposals and demonstrating migration approaches.
- Active SC clearance essential.
- The ability to work full time, onsite in central London essential.
- Strong experience delivering SharePoint Online and OneDrive migration projects essential.
- Proven expertise in SharePoint Server and Online architecture.
- Hands-on experience with migration tooling such as ShareGate and Microsoft SPMT.
- Extensive experience with large-scale migrations, including high data volume environments.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting capability for automation tasks.
