What the job involves
- Support and work closely with our high performing part of the VAR Business and have a true impact across numerous large customers while providing first class customer service
- Prepare accurate quotes and process orders
- Update client data and reports
- Raise bids and basic configurations
- Manage the full order lifecycle: raising orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with distributors, and ensuring timely fulfilment
- Act as a first point of contact for customer queries when the lead salesperson is unavailable
- Provide timely updates on order status, stock availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Build strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and vendor partners
- Handle administrative tasks that allow the salesperson to focus on closing deals and building relationships
- Liaise with internal teams (finance, logistics, technical services) to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements
- Track and elevate issues such as backorders, pricing discrepancies, or delivery delays
