Interim M&A Integration Lead – HR Workstreams – 6 month contract

Position Overview:
We have a unique opportunity for an Interim M&A Integration Lead to join our business on an initial 6-month term. This role can be hired on either a fixed-term contract or day-rate basis.
In this role, you will manage and oversee the HR workstreams across three recent acquisitions made by Advania UK.
This role is focused on specifically delivering change and integration for the HR department, as part of a wider integration programme.You will report directly to the Chief People Officer with a dotted line to the HR Programme Office.
This role requires two days per week in the London office, with travel throughout the UK and Ireland as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR integration plans for each acquisition, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure seamless integration.
- Oversee and manage the following workstreams across three legal entities, aiming to integrate them into the main business operating model within the next calendar year:
- Reward & Recognition Packages
- Governing Policy
- Grading Structure & Organisational Design
- Communication Channels
- HR Risks / Employee Relations Cases
- Pensions Mapping (UK, NL, IRE)
- Recruitment Review (e.g., planned hires, collateral, routes to market, agency supply chain, ATS systems, LinkedIn licenses, technology tools, cost of hire)
- HR Tech Stack (tools, licenses, contract tie-ins, data storage/transfer, configuration, integration with ATS systems and other technology stacks)
- Training Offerings (online/offline integrations, analytics, costs, contract tie-ins)
- Car Schemes and Fleet Management
- Pay Review and Appraisal Cycle Harmonisation
- Onboarding Review and Harmonisation
- TUPE Planning
- Contractor Due Diligence
You will also work with our business to definethe HR department’s target operating model post-integration.Qualifications & Experience:
This role would suit someone who is comfortable working in the day-to-day detail of an HR change programme with the support of a small team. Strong TUPE experience is essential.
Other attributes we are looking for include:
- Proven experience managing HR workstreams within M&A integration projects, ideally within a technology business.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in understanding and managing behavioural responses to change management.
- A solid understanding of HR tech integrations and systems.
- Experience in employee benefits and pension schemes harmonisation post-acquisition.
